Faulty Fixings

I received a call from a customer who was experiencing water stains on the ceilings inside her property. Upon investigating I found roofing screws had been installed incorrectly. Some fixings had been screwed down far too tightly causing the metal sheet to become damaged. Some had been installed at the wrong angle which pushes the rubber seal out of position.

You may think an incorrect angle of a screw is not a problem, but the correct position, fixing pressure and angle make the difference between a water tight roof or a water damaged ceiling.
